Before starting

Before you install Pro Web, you should ensure that you have the following:

Pro installer
Access to data via the Self Service Portal or Electronic Updates Windows Client or REST API.
Despatch note and or email from Experian containing a valid license key

If any of these items are missing, please contact Support.

License

You will need to enter a valid license key into the qalicn.ini file to use Web effectively.

Pro Web is available for the Windows and UNIX platforms listed below.

Windows:

Windows Server 2016
Windows Server 2019
Windows Server 2022
Desktop machines:
- Windows 11

UNIX:

Linux (x86-64) - kernel: 5.15.0; GCC: 11.4.0 (Ubuntu 22.04); .NET 8 or newer
Linux (x86-64) - kernel: 4.18.0; GCC: 8.5 (Red Hat 8.5.0-23) (Rocky Linux 8.10); .NET 8 or newer
Sun Solaris 64bit (Sparc) 11.4; GCC: 11.3.0
IBM AIX 64 bit - 7.2 TL5 SP9; XL C/C++ for AIX, V16.1.0

Please note that .NET 8 is required only if you intend to use the product through the Intuitive search type for Australia, New Zealand or France datasets.

Enough free hard disk space to store all the data files is also required. See the Data Guide supplied with each dataset for details about how much space you need.

Intelligent Address Parsing

Intelligent Address Parsing requires Pro Web version 8.13 or later and is available through the REST interface only. The supplied implementation reference describes the following environment requirements:

Pro Web REST version 8.13 or later.
Microsoft.NETCore.App 10(or newer) and Microsoft.AspNetCore.App 10(or newer)
Approximately 2 GB of space for the Intelligent Address Parsing installation.
On Linux, the native parsing library must be discoverable by the dynamic loader.
